Falling in Love with Fuschia

These past few weeks have been absolute madness on campus with football season well underway and midterms having served their purpose in showing students just how little we really know.

In addition to the craziness manifesting in Chapel Hill, with Carrie‘s photography business keeping her busy, I was thrilled when she called to say she would be in town and wanted to take more photos for Liv Fashionably.

I always enjoy seeing Carrie and doing sessions with her never feels like work.  This particular segment was extremely fun to do, and with the fall temperatures setting in, I couldn’t have asked for a better way to unwind on my first Saturday off in weeks.

I was most excited for this post to debut my new scooter, and since Fall has officially arrived, I decided to break out my favorite corduroys. Colored cords are a go-to in my book, simply because they can be dressed up with heels and a blouse, or dressed down with flats and a vest like I chose to do here.

I found this Patagonia vest a few weeks ago and absolutely fell in love! Fuschia is the color of the season, and this particular piece can go with so many outfits and it happens to pair perfectly with my Tory Burch flats from last season!

There’s no doubt that fuschia is a bright color, but in the midst of midterms and the brisk fall breeze, take a chance to brighten your day, or maybe someone else’s by adding a little fuschia color to your ensembles.

And as always, Liv Fashionably!
