As many of you may recall, Carrie and I did a train track shoot for our very first What I Wore segment, and since a new season is quickly approaching, we thought we’d go back to the place where it all began as a reminder as to how far we’ve come in such a short amount of time and to where we hope this blog may be headed. Since the weather has been in limbo between fall and spring, it can be so difficult to find something appropriate and somewhat formal when the occasion arises. For this particular look, I chose to wear a 70’s inspired bell sleeved, crochet knit dress. I am a firm believer in not wearing white after labor day or before Easter, so if we’re being technical, I like to call this dress a winter white, which is completely acceptable according to the traditional fashion handbook that may or may not exist. Even though Spring is well on its way, depending on where you reside, it may still be too cold for open toed shoes, however these particular wedges are suede and tend to give just enough touch of fall for them to work. Last but not least, I wore my Tory Burch cheetah print cross body, in order to give this outfit a small pop of color to make it come alive!
Wherever you’re headed, Liv Fashionably.
